Students can use the whiteboard to practice lessons and share materials during their sessions.
Note: We recommend using Google Chrome on Microsoft, Android, or Chrome devices. You must use Safari on Apple devices. See more information here.
- Join the session.
- When entering the learning environment, your video appears on the left side. The whiteboard is on the right.

- To mute yourself or turn off your camera for a moment, click on the microphone or camera icon over your video.
- To add to the whiteboard, click the blue pencil in the bottom of the whiteboard screen. Tools include:
- 🖉 Draw: Draw on the whiteboard freehand.
- A Text Box: Choose your text style and tap anywhere on the whiteboard to add a text box
- O🗆 Shapes: Select a shape and click and drag on the whiteboard to draw it.

- To share content with your tutor, click the green Lesson Materials icon in the lower right.
- Click the table icon to add conjugation tables
- Click the function icon to add math formulas
- Click the blue upload icon to upload files such as:
- Local files from your computer
- YouTube videos
- Google Drive links
- In the Lesson Materials window, click the file name to add the chosen content to the whiteboard.
- To share your screen, click the green Share Screen icon in the lower right and choose the sharing option:
- Screen Share: Choose to share your entire screen, a window, or a Chrome tab.
- Whiteboard Cam: Shows your camera full screen in a whiteboard tab.
- To raise your hand, click the blue Raise Hand icon in the top right.
- To view the whiteboard full screen, click the blue Full Screen View icon in the top right.
- To ask a question in a chat window, click the messages icon 🗪 above the videos on the left.
- When tutoring is over, click Leave Session in the top right.
